“Read me a story, tuck me in tight, say a sweet prayer and kiss me goodnight.”

As an avid reader and English teacher, along with the rustic venue overlooking a beautiful wooded landscape, there was no doubt in our mind on how to design this gender neutral mom-to-be’s baby shower. We incorporated sweet woodland animal art, stuffed animals, and storybooks throughout. Walking into this room we wanted the guests to feel like they were in the same beautiful wooded landscape that this venue is nestled in. By adding the tall arrangements of lush greenery on the guest tables, and along the statement table it really brought the outside in. Shades of soft greens, creams, and grays were added in the smaller details of the table linens, balloons, and flowers to really add the finishing touches to create this sweet setting. “Read me a story, tuck me in tight, say a bed time prayer and kiss me goodnight.”
